Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, dashboards, and variance reports to support informed decision-making
Develop financial models, forecasts, and multi-year projections to guide organizational planning, sustainability efforts, and grant-funded programs
Monitor financial performance across programs and funding streams, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and long-term viability
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, program directors, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders
Oversee the full fiscal lifecycle of local, state, federal, and private grants, including budget development, fund allocation, tracking, reporting, and closeout
Ensure compliance with grant agreements, regulatory requirements, and applicable cost principles, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
Prepare reimbursement requests, financial reports, drawdowns, and supporting documentation for grantors
Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records for all grants and restricted funds
Partner with program staff to ensure expenditures align with grant deliverables, allowable costs, and approved timelines
Lead or support the annual budgeting process for organization-wide operations and grant proposals
Track budgets monthly, analyze variances, and proactively communicate financial risks or adjustments to leadership

Required

Minimum 3 years of financial analysis experience, including 1+ years managing nonprofit grants or restricted funds
Strong knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, fund accounting, and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200)
