Supervisor, Cash Applications - OTC

The Cash Application Supervisor oversees daily operations of the cash application function, ensuring accurate application of customer payments and compliance with company policies while leading a team of specialists.

Responsibilities

Team Supervision: Supervise, and mentor AP specialists, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Cash Posting & Reconciliation: Oversee accurate application of customer payments across multiple ERP systems; resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies promptly
Month-End Close: Support reconciliations and reporting for cash application activities; ensure deadlines are met
Reporting & KPIs: Monitor cash application accuracy and timeliness; provide insights to the Cash Application Manager
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve efficiency within Cash Application processes, leveraging GBS best practices
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Cash Application Manager

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business-related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
Minimum 3 years of AR/cash application experience
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
Understanding of O2C processes and best practices within a GBS environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced Global Business Services environment
Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred

1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
