Responsibilities

Support pluggable and Trosa DVTr/Reliability testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Implement TROSA Bonepile reduction testing to optimize resource utilization
Utilize SQL and JMP for advanced data analysis, reporting, and test result interpretation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance test capabilities and share best practices
Document and maintain comprehensive test procedures and results for future reference
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optical and electrical test equipment, ensuring smooth operations
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in optoelectronics to incorporate innovative testing techniques
Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing
Ensure compliance with optical communication standards and protocols throughout the testing process

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in optoelectronics product validation and testing, with a focus on optical communication
Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly SQL and JMP, for efficient data handling and interpretation
Strong understanding of optical communication principles and electrical/optical test fundamentals, ensuring accurate test execution
Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment, including their calibration and maintenance procedures
Experience with vb.net or similar programming languages for test automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and decision-making
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively
Effective communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices, ensuring professional growth
