Manage open cases for pacemakers and heart monitors
Verify insurance coverage and determine payer responsibility
Submit or follow up on prior authorization requests via fax or outbound calls (PA team only)
Accurately enter and update case information in internal systems
Identify and flag discrepancies or incomplete documentation
Adhere to HIPAA and all relevant healthcare compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in healthcare, insurance verification, or medical billing
Strong data entry and documentation skills
Clear communication abilities, especially for roles requiring outbound calls
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and accuracy benchmarks
Comfortable learning and working within healthcare systems and payer processes
High school or equivalent
