Responsibilities
Write simple to complex SQL programs to extract data for client inquiry and research
Perform complex data analysis to support research requests by the client
Write simple to complex SQL programs to extract ad hoc data for monitoring and maintaining data mart operations
Inquire with product owners and stakeholders to ensure quality receipt and integration of new analytic and model data on a daily basis across multiple product lines
Utilize production metrics reports to perform research and assess quality of overall data
Coordinate with development teams, operations teams and management to enhance operational metric reporting
Engage with Internal clients to triage and manage incoming operational inquiries and tasks
Interface professionally with database, ETL, and model and rule development teams
Troubleshoot client and operational issues quickly and comprehensively
Support, train and mentor fellow analysts and developers
Improve operational processes
Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
Function well within a matrix organization (E.g. - supporting multiple leaders)
Proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing diverse and complex data, and assessing Data Quality
Proficiency with excel & visualization tools
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience writing SQL queries/scripts
3+ years of experience with Python for data analysis
2+ years of structured and unstructured database experience
2+ years of Healthcare claims experience
Preferred
Experience working in an operational environment
Experience with statistical analysis of data
Knowledge of commercial fraud, waste, abuse and error, generally
Knowledge of healthcare claim adjudication systems
Experience with Rally, MS Teams (Bonus)
