Responsibilities
Determine customer instrumentation and control contract requirements and delivery schedules
Verify all instrumentation against system P&IDs and create instrument lists
Size and select control valves, regulators, meters, and analyzers
Develop instrument technical specifications and RFQs
Review and technically evaluate supplier quotes
Create and maintain instrument loops, datasheets, and drawings
Provide all design input documents required for I/O list creation
Create and detail control narratives and cause and effect matrices
Demonstrated proficiency in SCADA systems, PLC programming, HMI development, DCS, and industrial networking
Interface with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams
Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support during at site locations
Ensure compliance with applicable country-specific codes and standards
Interpret and apply standards such as ISA, ANSI/NEMA, NFPA, AGA, etc
QA/QC of engineering and design document and drawing packages
Provide weekly project updates to internal project managers
Communicate with client managers and technical experts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Equivalent Industry Experience
Experience with Allen-Bradley, DeltaV, Siemens, Modicon, and/or Ignition
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel
Ability to work with various project groups and managers
All employees must pass drug and alcohol testing to be accepted for employment
Once hired, employees may be subject to random testing
Preferred
Candidates with programming experience are preferred
