Account Executive (GovTech SaaS)

They are seeking a driven Mid-Market Account Executive to lead engagements across the U.S., selling into complex, multi-stakeholder environments and helping organizations modernize their operations.

Responsibilities
Own sales cycles for mid‑market public‑sector and first‑responder–aligned organisations
Build a healthy pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, and strategic territory focus
Lead structured discovery to map operational workflows, uncover pain points, and position clear, outcome‑based value
Collaborate with technical and post‑sales teams to deliver tailored demos, scope solutions accurately, and ensure seamless customer handovers
Maintain disciplined CRM and forecasting habits, ensuring clean data, accurate pipelines, and predictable reporting
Develop strong insight into public‑sector procurement paths, stakeholder dynamics, and technology‑adoption behaviours
Qualification
Required
B2B SaaS closing experience, ideally in mid‑market or multi‑stakeholder sales cycles
Demonstrated strength in consultative discovery and value‑based selling
Ability to engage operational, technical, and administrative stakeholders across a structured buying process
Strong pipeline management, organisational discipline, and forecasting accuracy
Proactive, accountable, and adept at building pipeline while managing live deals
Collaborative attitude with experience working alongside SDRs, SEs, and Customer Success
Preferred
Experience in public‑sector, first‑responder, or other mission‑driven/regulated environments
