Responsibilities
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality requirements for PCB and repair processes
Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and process data to support continuous improvement initiatives
Perform special testing, process capability studies, and measurement system / repeatability studies
Support preparation and maintenance of inspection instructions and procedures for mechanical and cosmetic criteria
Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI), including process readiness, quality planning, and training
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product and process improvements
Participate in continuous improvement activities (root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions)
Recommend process and/or design improvements, including:
+ Failure analysis methods
+ Corrective action recommendations
+ Material and component analysis
Support compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality system requirements
Assist in meeting departmental goals and objectives as defined by the Quality Manager or Director
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing quality role (PCB/repair experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of inspection and analysis tools and methods (preferably in a computerized environment)
Experience with data analysis, basic statistics, and intermediate Excel skills
Proven problem-solving experience using structured methodologies
Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Certified six sigma green belt
