Communications & Project Manager

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of communications plans aligned to client goals, timelines, and key moments
Translate client inputs and briefs into clear, audience-focused, action-oriented messaging and content
Create communications that help audiences understand not just “what's happening,” but “why it matters”
Develop communications materials including:
Email drafts, announcements, and internal updates
Scripts for videos and internal storytelling assets
Articles and content for digital platforms
One-pagers, FAQs, talking points, and toolkits
Slide-ready copy for presentations and leadership meetings
Newsletters and manager resources
Ensure consistency across messaging, tone, and creative direction
Incorporate client feedback efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned engagements, leading client calls and developing meeting agendas
Document decisions, distribute clear recaps with next steps, and ensure follow-through on action items
Proof deliverables thoroughly to ensure alignment with project requirements and client expectations
Track deliverables, timelines, deadlines, and approvals to keep work on schedule
Maintain project trackers with accurate status and proactively identify dependencies or issues
Manage digital asset organization and version control
Provide regular project status updates to internal teams and clients

Required

5 years of experience in communications or content development (agency, professional services, or corporate environment including Corporate Affairs, Communications, HR, or Marketing)
Experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or organizational communications
Exceptional writing, proofing, and editing skills with ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), with ability to troubleshoot formatting and make minor content updates independently
Familiarity with email marketing and internal communications platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Poppulo, or similar tools
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred

Familiarity with digital content workflows including video production and digital asset management
Experience supporting highly matrixed corporate clients
Knowledge of change management principles and internal communications strategies
