Vice President of Sales
10EQS is a global consulting firm that helps clients accelerate decision-making through expert insights and strategy execution. They are seeking a VP of Sales and Business Development to drive growth by closing strategic deals, developing relationships, and building a scalable revenue engine.

Responsibilities
Personally originate and close new enterprise client relationships in priority segments and named accounts
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution shaping, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
Translate complex client needs into compelling consulting solutions and repeatable offerings
Sell larger, higher-value, and repeatable engagements; expand initial wins into follow-on work
Drive renewals and expansions for selected accounts where you are directly involved
Orchestrate internal resources (partners, delivery leaders, subject matter experts) to maximize win probability and sales efficiency
Help refine 10EQS’s go-to-market focus by sharpening ICP, qualification criteria, and deal selection
Codify what works into simple, practical sales plays and guidelines
Partner with leadership to refine offer packaging, pricing logic, and proposal discipline
Improve CRM usage, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility to support decision-making
Support and mentor business development resources as needed to improve commercial effectiveness
Qualification
Required
8–12 years of success in B2B consultative or solution sales (e.g., management consulting, market intelligence, expert networks, market research or SaaS with a services model); including selling episodic and recurring engagements and/or through direct and partner channels
Proven ability to sell to C-suite executives (Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, Operations, or Investor Relations)
Proven track record of personally closing complex enterprise deals
Track record of generating new logos and expanding existing client accounts
Experience in a growth-stage or entrepreneurial environment
Experience navigating enterprise procurement and contracting (MSAs, SOWs, security/compliance requirements)
Prior exposure to industries such as industrials, healthcare, private equity, professional services, and technology
Strategic, consultative, and value-oriented communicator
Comfortable discussing complex business challenges and designing solutions
Builder mindset, thrives in creating processes and teams from the ground up
Strong analytical and CRM discipline; data-driven in decision-making
