Program Integrity Caseworker
NEOGOV is part of Gaston County Government, dedicated to improving the lives of its citizens. The Program Integrity Caseworker will be responsible for interviewing clients, researching records for overpayment determinations, and investigating potential fraud cases while ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities
Interview clients and research records to obtain information needed to complete overpayment determinations. Work with employers, landlords, utility companies, schools and other agencies to obtain information
Take citizen reports, calls from workers and other agencies reporting possible fraud/overpayments, investigating when appropriate
Log in referrals into EPICS, work with Accounting on cash payments and logging them into EPICS. Work with Tax Intercept procedures
Explain to clients and community eligibility requirements. Explain to clients why they have an overpayment
Prepare summaries and present evidence for Administrative and State Hearings
Must be available to work mandatory emergency shelters & other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years of eligibility experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker or similar role
