Senior Engineer I-Process (Photo)
Microchip Technology Inc. is a global organization that designs technology powering the world. They are seeking a qualified Photo Process Engineer to improve product yield and implement process improvements at their manufacturing facility in Gresham, OR.

Responsibilities
Improve product yield by evaluating and implementing process improvements
Reduce wafer manufacturing cost by qualifying and implementing cost-saving process changes
Write and optimize equipment recipes for wafer processing
Perform qualification tests on new equipment to increase manufacturing output
Analyze results from metrology equipment including scanning electron microscope (SEM)
Review statistical process control (SPC) results for process variability and capability
Troubleshoot and problem solve wafer poor yield or scrap issues Implement preventive procedures to avoid wafer poor yield or scrap
Work as a team with fellow employees to improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process
Write equipment process specifications and reports
Qualification
Required
5-6 years' experience as a photolithography or equivalent semiconductor process engineer
BS/MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent
Proficiency in written and oral communication
Able to lift 20 lbs; push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 20 lbs; sit 60%; stand 20%; walk 20%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing
Work environment could include slippery surfaces, noise or vibrations, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, fumes or odors
