Responsibilities

Direct the strategic enhancement of ALDBUS management systems to achieve measurable, enterprise-level impact and elevate stakeholder value
Drive customer-first strategies and oversee transformative process and system improvements to elevate service delivery and organizational performance
Lead the development and maintenance of ALDBUS's Strategic Plan to deliver measurable results
Lead the improvement of business processes and systems across ALDBUS to meet the needs of our stakeholders and ensure appropriate compliance
Provide senior-level oversight to resolve program and project issues requiring cross-organizational collaboration
Maintain line management responsibility for performance, issues management, and strategic improvement activities
Lead ALDBUS's succession planning and high-potential development efforts while mentoring and guiding managers and staff on Laboratory systems, processes, and performance expectations
Champion organizational culture initiatives and model behaviors aligned with Laboratory values
Promote and sustain a strong continuous improvement culture across ALDBUS as part of LANL's learning organization
Build and strengthen effective customer relationships both within and outside the Laboratory
Demonstrate leadership and accountability for safety, security, environmental stewardship, and quality
Partner with ALDBUS leadership to implement DDOPs, Laboratory initiatives, and both strategic and tactical plans
Provide timely, accurate responses to institutional, DDOP, and organizational requests
Represent and communicate ALDBUS priorities and initiatives across the Laboratory, including through LOC participation

Required

Experienced leader with characteristics including personal integrity and accountability, fiduciary responsibility, trustworthiness in relationships, commitment to quality and excellence in programs and operations; commitment to an engaged workforce based on equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility; human resource development; and effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated record of Senior Director-level accomplishment evidenced through measurable performance outcomes across complex business, financial, and enterprise system environments
Experience leading or overseeing major business system portfolios-such as information technology, cybersecurity, financial management, acquisition services, or enterprise resource planning-including strategic planning, system modernization, large-scale implementation, operational excellence, and compliance with internal and external requirements
Demonstrated experience fostering an organizational culture of shared accountability; improvement-driven teamwork; and learning/unlearning from error precursors, near misses, and events to enhance effectiveness and achieve efficiencies
Demonstrated experience in collaborating with high-level internal and external stakeholders, including the demonstrated ability to build trust, enhance organizational reputation, and achieve shared objectives
An advanced degree in business (CFO, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management), information technology, cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, together with 15 years of relevant professional experience, is expected
An equivalent combination of education and related work experience will also be considered
Experience leading business services in federal or national security environments
Knowledge of DOE/NNSA structures and requirements
Experience in business operations for complex or high-security organizations
Active Q-clearance
