Responsibilities
Perform shipping, receiving, storing, staging, and supplying of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
Prepare goods for shipment to distribution centers
Hand-load carts, racks, and equipment and deliver materials to production areas
Perform bin-to-bin transfers and material staging transactions in SAP
Maintain required material levels in production staging areas (PSAs)
Complete SAP training to obtain required system access
Perform goods receipts for deliveries from outside vendors
Physically locate materials in the warehouse and record transactions in SAP
Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
Review production schedules and determine material requirements from outside vendors
Offload deliveries from vendors and prepare outgoing shipments
Maintain records of materials shipped and received
Use warehouse and shipping systems as required (including UPS systems)
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and housekeeping standards
Use independent judgment to troubleshoot and resolve material or warehouse issues
Provide support to leads or supervisors as needed
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
Support special projects as assigned
Work overtime as required to meet business needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 4 years of material handling or warehouse experience
At least 1 year of SAP experience required
Previous experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, shrink wrapper)
Forklift certification required
Valid driver's license required
Certification in Dangerous Goods (IATA, DOT DG, or IMDG) required
Extensive knowledge of SAP warehouse transactions
Ability to work with manual and routine assignments while identifying deviations
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to maintain neat, accurate, and complete records (manual and electronic)
Ability to manage frequent assignment changes
Proficient in English (reading, writing, basic math, interpreting charts and diagrams)
Basic computer skills in a Windows environment
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a repetitive environment
