Supervising Human Resources Analyst
The City of Stockton’s Human Resources Department is seeking a Supervising Human Resources Analyst to lead the Workforce Planning Division. This role is crucial in shaping the City’s workforce through recruitment and classification, requiring strong public sector HR expertise and innovative workforce strategies.

Oversee the Workforce Planning Division
Shape the City’s workforce through recruitment, classification, and support of the Civil Service and Salary Setting Commissions
Manage complex and sensitive assignments with a high degree of independence
Apply expertise in classification, compensation, recruitment, examination development, and related human resources functions
Contribute innovative ideas in a collaborative public agency environment
Qualification
Required
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible professional human resources experience in a generalist capacity, including responsibilities in more than one of the areas described above
At least two (2) years of lead or supervisory responsibility is required
Experience in a public agency setting is highly desirable
