Responsibilities
Ensures that all air and ground transport is reviewed and verified for billing accuracy and regulatory completeness
Conducts audits as needed for compliance purposes and uses results for education and remediation
Maintains, processes, and ensures the integrity and quality of all system Mobile Health records utilizing technological, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Supports the operations for the department while providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to internal and external customers
Responsible for supervision of Billing Team members
Qualification
Required
Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required
Two years, required. In EMS, Critical Care or Air Medical billing. Or Two years' experience in Health Information Management or Coding Support
Skills and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork, organizational, planning and data entry skills
Technology Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Preferred
Five years, preferred. Previous administrative leadership or revenue mgmt. experience in an EMS, Critical Care or Air Medical agency
Licensure/Certification (Preferred) : Notary Public, Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (NAAC), & Certified Ambulance Coder (NAAC)
