Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
Maintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepare and analyze financial statements; explain variances to management
Coordinate with external partners including CPAs, auditors, and tax preparers
Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and account balances
Ensure compliance with GAAP , tax regulations, and company policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
Train, mentor, and manage accounting staff; conduct performance reviews
Assist leadership with special projects and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA
Experience in operations, logistics, or production-based environments
Familiarity with internal audits and process improvement
