Motor Technician (Rewind)
Sterling Engineering is seeking a Motor Technician (Rewind) to join their team in West Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for repairing, rebuilding, and testing electro-mechanical equipment, specifically focusing on motors and pumps while ensuring accurate documentation is completed.

Responsibilities
Repair and rebuild electro-mechanical equipment, including motors and pumps
Rewind, inspect, and test single-phase, three-phase, DC fields, wound rotors, and transformers
Dismantle and strip damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical equipment
Perform complete testing on repaired equipment
Accurately complete required paperwork and checklists for each job
Follow safety, quality, and shop procedures at all times
Qualification
Required
Experience repairing and rebuilding electro-mechanical equipment
Hands-on experience with motor rewinding and testing
Ability to work independently and meet job timelines
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
