2+ years expValley Bank is seeking an ABL Loan Origination Associate to assist in attracting new clients. The role involves supporting the Asset Based Lending team with financial analysis, sales materials preparation, and account management tasks.

Responsibilities
Partner and collaborate with ABL origination and credit professionals to produce written support of new credit opportunities
Participate in joint calls with business partners to develop customer relationships and support ABL product sales across business lines
Prospect research - qualification
Salesforce.com access for maintenance of the ABL prospects
Interact on sales opportunities with the ABL officer and our bankers located nationwide
Create sales - marketing materials such as pitch books, case studies, tombstones, etc
Liaison with corporate marketing on external marketing materials
Interface with the ABL unit and corporate marketing on social media marketing efforts
Partner with ABL credit professionals to produce written support of existing credit relationships
Qualification
Required
An understanding of accounting, financial statements, capital and debt structures
Must have moderate-to-advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and work quality, problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize work to meet numerous levels of deadlines
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrates strong, professional interpersonal skills to interact professionally and effectively with a variety of internal and external constituents
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a financial analysis role with either a regulated bank or direct lender
Preferred
Experience with SalesForce.com or other sales management platform preferred
