Avionics Technician - 3rd Shift
Aeroman is a company specializing in aviation services, and they are seeking an Avionics Technician for the 3rd shift. The role involves installing, inspecting, testing, and repairing avionics equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

Responsibilities
Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics equipment, including radio, radar, and navigation systems
Troubleshoot and resolve avionics system issues using wiring diagrams and maintenance manuals
Plan and execute the installation of avionics assemblies and systems
Operate ground support and test equipment to conduct functional tests of avionics systems
Read and comply with maintenance manuals to accurately locate and service aircraft components
Identify and repair discrepancies using manufacturer’s manuals for appropriate procedures
Demonstrate basic understanding of electrical and electronics language and theory
Perform skilled manual and technical work using tools such as soldering irons, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters
Lift and carry hand tools, parts, and materials; work in various positions, including stooping, kneeling, or squatting
Follow safety procedures and utilize appropriate safety equipment for assigned tasks
Communicate effectively in English regarding work activities, per FAA requirements
Maintain accurate records, including work order documentation, logs, and time/material records
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required

High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Driver's License required
Minimum of 18 months of relevant experience with narrow and wide-body aircraft
Familiarity with avionics techniques, terminology, and parts
Proficient in using Flightstar's ERP system for daily transactions
Ability to research and reference customer maintenance manuals
Ability to lift and carry hand tools, parts, and materials
Must be able to climb ladders and platforms
Comfortable working in various positions, including stooping, kneeling, and squatting
Preferred
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate preferred
Airframe Familiarization (FAM) course certificates preferred
FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License preferred
