TRAINING OFFICER 1
State of Arizona Enterprise Technology (ASET) is seeking a Training Officer 1 to join their innovative and collaborative team. This position is responsible for providing on-the-job training and managing training processes for the Indirect Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). The role involves assessing training effectiveness, collaborating with leadership, and resolving issues related to driver license and title services.

Responsibilities
Provide on-the-job training and coaching one-on-one or in a group setting
Manage staff and standard work to ensure utilization of the most current training plan and materials
Assess effectiveness of the training plan, collaborate with leadership team, solicit feedback from trainees to identify and implement measures to improve the overall training experience
Create, manage and maintain standard work for training processes
Work closely with MVD leaders on training needs and updates
Testing in MAX with relative system updates
Research, verify, interpret, update and apply thorough working knowledge of Indirect Units to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Valid driver's license
Background check required
Bachelor's Degree in an acceptable field of study from an accredited college and one year of experience in training
Knowledge of American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Rules and Regulations
Knowledge of ARS Title 28 and MVD policies and procedures
Knowledge of applicable MVD software, databases, screens and codes
Knowledge of Accident Conviction Disposition Codes
Knowledge of Problem Driver Pointer System (PDPS), National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS), and State Pointer Exchange System (SPEX)
Knowledge of various training methods (virtual, in-person, etc.)
Knowledge of training principles, strategies and methods
Knowledge of learning processes; trends in employee learning
Knowledge of Google Workspace
