Responsibilities
Prepare and present timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to executive leadership and stakeholders
Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting
Establish financial and operating benchmarks in coordination with the CFO
Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance, trends, and opportunities
Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard clinic assets
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards
Manage external audit processes and serve as primary liaison with auditors
Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies and procedures
Oversee cash flow management, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury activities
Monitor liquidity and support effective working capital management
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff (4–6 team members)
Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback
Delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient workflows and timely deliverables
Foster a collaborative, high-performing finance team culture
Partner with other departments to support financial initiatives and operational alignment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Support financial project management and cross-functional initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Minimum of ten (10) years of accounting or finance experience
At least five (5) years in a senior-level accounting or finance leadership role
Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting
Knowledge of banking processes, cash management, and financial analysis
Working knowledge of tax regulations and compliance reporting
Experience managing payroll and streamlining accounting processes
Strong financial project management skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development abilities
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Preferred
Healthcare or clinic environment experience
