R&D Device Intern

The R&D Device Intern will assist engineers with various R&D job functions within active projects, focusing on mechanical and laboratory testing and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Attend team meetings as necessary
Perform necessary mechanical and laboratory testing, and post-testing analysis
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at an accredited college/university at time of co-op
Majors in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering
Generally Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
Preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills preferred, but not required
Previous laboratory skills preferred, but not required
