Program Performance Management Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyzing program performance in compliance with contractual and government guidelines
Develops budgets, schedules, forecasts, and financial analyses
Assesses and mitigates cost and schedule risks
Ensures accurate funding management and baseline control throughout the contract lifecycle
Develops professional expertise
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required
Works on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems
Focus on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals

Required

Bachelors degree and 2+ years related experience OR equivalent work experience
Effectively uses problem solving skills and analytical thinking to resolve business needs with technology solutions
Comfortable presenting content to customers (internal or external) and/or others
Ability to perform as an integral part of a team
Solid organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Project and Excel
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred

Understanding of project management processes and practices, including Earned Value
Understanding of financial reporting practices and terminology
Understanding of manufacturing management processes and practices
Working knowledge of Deltek COBRA tool used for managing project costs and measuring performance, and analyzing budgets, actuals and forecasts
Understanding of Risk and Opportunity Management
