Responsibilities

Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant multi-cloud architectures tailored to meet business needs, aligning with industry best practices
Develop comprehensive documentation, including architectural blueprints, operational procedures, and security standards to guide infrastructure deployment and management
Evaluate and recommend cloud services, emerging technologies, and automation tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and security of cloud environments
Automate provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud resources using Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Security, Network, and Operations to design and implement secure, hybrid cloud solutions, including VPCs, VPNs, and direct connect
Implement and enforce security best practices by working with Security teams to develop identity management, encryption, access controls, and compliance protocols (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
Optimize network connectivity and performance through load balancing, DNS configuration, and traffic routing strategies; troubleshoot issues proactively
Guide and mentor team members on cloud infrastructure best practices, automation, and security
Engage in architecture reviews and technical decision-making, presenting strategies and solutions clearly to leadership and stakeholders
Stay current with cloud innovation, security trends, and industry standards to drive continuous improvement

Required

Minimum of 5+ years experience in infrastructure engineering and cloud architecture, including hands-on work with Azure and AWS
At least 2+ years of expert-level Terraform development for multi-cloud automation and 2+ years deploying resources with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, and CLI tools for AWS and Azure
Solid understanding of Azure Virtual Networks, Resource Manager, Active Directory, Key Vault, and Azure Networking components
Extensive experience with AWS Transit Gateway, VPC configuration, IAM, Lambda, and network security solutions
Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions—including VPNs and Direct Connect—and network optimization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred

Preferred experience with container orchestration in cloud environments (EKS, AKS, Docker)
Familiar with cloud-native monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
Strong system administration, disaster recovery, and business continuity expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
