Responsibilities
Support the selection and execution of comprehensive investment strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of our ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients
Coordinate the Investment Committee to promote consistent adoption, monitoring, and evaluation of the investment strategy, recommended funds/equities, and third-party managers
Direct the rigorous due diligence process for potential alternative investments and third-party asset managers by evaluating risk, return profiles, and alignment with investment criteria
Prepare and present detailed investment performance reports and strategic insights to senior leadership and advisors, ensuring transparency and accountability
Manage the operational due diligence, in conjunction with third-party specialists, of our selected managers, including on-going operational diligence post investment
Coordinate the structuring of alternative and traditional investments in funds, asset managers, and independent sponsor opportunities
Lead the legal and tax structuring of the investment entities and coordinate with the asset managers, legal advisors, tax consultants, and third-party partners
Includes entity formation, accounting and tax reporting, client documentation, drawdowns, distributions, and regulatory filings
Develop relationships with third party partners, including administrators, diligence consultants, and investment platforms
Find ways to work more closely with them to become more efficient
Manage and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and operational excellence
Ensure consistent adherence with all firm guidelines for trading and performance reporting
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external advisors to streamline investment processes, optimize operational efficiency, and implement best practices
Lead the integration of new advisors and firms on to our investment platform including the transition of assets from off-platform/legacy funds following integration or acquisition
Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks and analytics, to proactively identify risk and portfolio inefficiency, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards in coordination with the CCO
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, investment outlook, new investment opportunities and key metrics for internal stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and investment committees
Communicate effectively with senior management on portfolio positioning, investment opportunities, and risks

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Proven experience (8+ years) in investment operations and/or risk management, with a strong track record of operational excellence in managing positions across multiple asset classes
In-depth understanding of public and alternative financial instruments, due diligence, and risk management principles and metrics
Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to investment management and execution
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with third-party partners and managers, senior executives, external partners and internal advisors
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work under pressure, pivot quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred
Proficiency in investment analysis tools and software (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, Excel) is preferred
Prior experience with Addepar and/or Arch strongly preferred
