InternLCRA is a company that provides essential services to enhance the life of Texans. They are seeking an intern in their Survey, GIS and Technical Services department to gain real-world experience in land surveying and support various projects and survey applications.

Responsibilities
Perform computer-aided drafting of survey data, including plotting field data and deed record information
Prepare survey maps and plats
Support field crew activities to ensure efficient field survey operations. Interprets survey or engineering drawings for field personnel
Write field note descriptions for review by Registered Professional Land Surveyor
Research county deed records and tax appraisal office records to determine ownership
Assist Survey Field Crew in performing survey field work as necessary
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in freshman year or has completed freshman year and will be starting sophomore year
Preferred
Knowledge of Civil3D and other Autodesk products
Knowledge of Leica Infinity
Knowledge of coordinate geometry calculations
Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other Office Suite of programs
Knowledge of researching, reading, interpreting and understanding deeds and legal descriptions
Knowledge of field surveying procedures with conventional total stations, GPS, differential levels, laser scanning, etc
