This role is responsible for designing compliant charge capture workflows and leading charge audit initiatives while partnering closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to protect revenue and ensure regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and long-term sustainability of compliant charge capture workflows for clinician-driven revenue
Oversee documentation, audit, and system-driven revenue capture processes across acute and ambulatory settings
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex revenue integrity and charge capture issues
Build and maintain a quality assurance program that supports provider education, auditing, and feedback loops
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes impacting revenue cycle operations and lead implementation of required updates
Direct charge auditing functions that identify revenue recovery opportunities
Develop, implement, and evaluate revenue integrity programs, performance metrics, and reporting
Provide executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
Lead and develop managers and teams, holding leaders accountable for performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement
Establish and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Oversee departmental budgeting, financial planning, and vendor management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of progressive leadership experience within revenue cycle, revenue integrity, or middle revenue cycle disciplines
Expert-level knowledge of charge capture, revenue integrity, regulatory compliance, and audit functions
Demonstrated experience leading large, complex teams and enterprise-wide initiatives
Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance monitoring
Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational change
Preferred
Nursing degree, coding certification (CPC, CCS), CRCR, RHIT, or similar credential
Experience leading revenue integrity programs in large health systems
