Responsibilities
Translate business workflows into clear functional and technical specifications with full traceability across the delivery lifecycle
Partner with Operations, Treasury, Finance, and Front Office teams to evolve post-trade and asset servicing workflows
Analyze trade lifecycles across asset classes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation
Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations across Middle Office platforms
Map end-to-end workflows across settlements, corporate actions, collateral, margin, financing, and reconciliations
Evaluate data flows and system behavior to ensure accuracy, control, and scalability
Operate across 1–3 concurrent initiatives with varying release cadences
Define and own the testing strategy across unit, integration, regression, and UAT phases
Develop test plans, scenarios, and data validation frameworks aligned to real trading behavior
Coordinate and lead UAT with business users, ensuring issues are documented, prioritized, and resolved
Partner with Engineering to align automated testing frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
Act as a quality gate, ensuring solutions are production-ready prior to release
Serve as a bridge between business users and development teams
Manage vendor interactions related to requirements clarification, defect triage, and change requests
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, setting expectations and surfacing risks early
Qualification
Required
5+ years as a Business Analyst or Solutions Engineer within financial services
Strong Middle Office experience across Operations and/or Treasury (Operations experience required; Treasury strongly preferred)
Deep understanding of post-trade workflows, including settlements, corporate actions, financing, collateral, margin, and reconciliations
Experience working with enterprise asset servicing platforms such as Calypso, Murex, Summit, or Orchestrade including trade capture and lifecycle event processing
Hands-on experience with UAT, regression testing, and end-to-end validation
Strong requirements documentation and process-mapping capabilities
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools for operational data validation
Ability to analyze and explain trade structures (e.g., swaps, loans, vanilla derivatives)
Clear, structured communicator who can challenge assumptions respectfully
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Comfortable operating in matrix environments with minimal oversight
Values rigor, accuracy, and getting things right over getting them fast
Preferred
Cross-asset experience (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives) is strongly preferred
Exposure to OTC derivatives; fixed income and loans experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Jira and modern delivery workflows
Python experience is a plus
