Responsibilities
Prepare conceptual through detailed estimates for ground-up commercial projects
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using industry-standard tools
Review drawings (architectural, civil, structural, MEP) to identify scope and risk
Develop clear scopes of work and support value engineering
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids
Validate pricing using historical data and benchmarks
Document assumptions, inclusions, and exclusions for project handoff
Use Bluebeam/PlanSwift/OST and Procore for estimating and coordination
Qualification
Required
2+ years of commercial estimating experience
Strong knowledge of ground-up commercial construction
Proficiency with estimating software and Procore
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently with high accuracy and accountability
Preferred
5+ years of commercial estimating experience
