Executive Liaison
Too Young to Wed is a global organization working to end child marriage and advance girls’ rights through education, protection, and long-term community change. The Executive Liaison role supports the CEO by enhancing preparation, coordination, and follow-through around meetings and priorities that influence the organization's external presence and direction.
Responsibilities
Prepare background materials, briefing notes, and contextual summaries for meetings
Support meeting framing by drafting agendas and identifying key considerations
Track decisions, commitments, and follow-ups in shared documentation
Draft follow-up communications for CEO review and approval
Attend selected meetings as an observer and note-taker
Capture themes, questions, and action items to support continuity
Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and local travel
Serve as a coordination point for scheduling and logistics, without independent authority
Maintain organized records related to meetings, correspondence, and decisions
Support follow-up by coordinating with staff or consultants at the CEO’s direction
Surface gaps, risks, or missed handoffs to the CEO for resolution
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to operate in high-trust, high-discretion settings, including supporting complex schedules, sensitive communications, and reliable follow-through for senior or public-facing leaders
Exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through
Strong written communication and synthesis skills
Comfort managing confidential information with care and professionalism
Ability to handle complexity calmly, prioritize effectively, and adapt in fast-moving environments
Availability to work primarily in person in Peekskill, NY
Preferred
Experience in nonprofit, advocacy, media, diplomacy, or other mission-driven settings
Familiarity with supporting public-facing leadership and managing sensitive external relationships
Comfort supporting light operational coordination, including tracking follow-ups, maintaining organized records, and using digital tools to support execution and continuity
Strong technical proficiency, including comfort with calendars, shared documents, databases, and collaboration tools in a fast-moving environment
Interest in global justice, education, or human rights work
