Responsibilities
Participate in scope definition, technical solution design, budget estimation, and resource planning
Develop and manage detailed project timelines accounting for technical complexity, dependencies, and critical path activities
Prepare Project Definition documents, status reports, and presentations for Project Committees and steering forums
Monitor and control all project tasks and milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Manage project budgets and report on financial performance and variances
Support project tracking, task updates, and progress reporting in Clarity PPM or equivalent PMO tools
Lead project close-out activities, including post-implementation reviews, lessons learned, and success metrics
Provide technical expertise for end-user platform architecture planning, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and future-state strategy
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on platform upgrade and refresh initiatives
Perform technical assessments and solution comparisons across end-user technologies
Contribute to the implementation of technical solutions aligned with the client's technology roadmap
Ensure compliance with Architecture standards, PMO methodology, and governance frameworks
Provide leadership, oversight, and coordination across the following domains: End User Devices, Application Virtualization & VDI, Mobility & Device Management, Messaging & Collaboration, Networking & Access, ITSM & Operations, End User Security
Assist with and supervise hardware and software installation activities as required
Provide expert guidance during deployments, migrations, and upgrades
Assist in preparing build, configuration, and operational standards for assigned end-user technology domains
Coordinate cross-functional IOC teams and lead regular project and program status meetings
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Prepare and maintain quality plans
Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization where standards or precedents may not exist
Develop and maintain technical and project documentation
Support development of project management procedures and best practices
Identify training needs and assist in the creation of training plans
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing end-user platform and workplace technology projects
Strong technical background in end-user devices, collaboration platforms, mobility, security, and application virtualization
Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into executable project plans
Experience coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage local and global senior leadership
Experience operating within formal PMO and architecture governance frameworks
Public Utility experience required
Consultant should reside in NY State, Boston, Connecticut, New Haven or Portland, OR
Onsite requirement 3 days per week
Preferred
Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments
Hands-on experience with Citrix, Intune, O365, ServiceNow, and endpoint security platforms
Familiarity with Clarity PPM or similar enterprise project management tools
Strong documentation, reporting, and executive presentation skills
