Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of civil site design plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and roadway layouts
Support land development projects from concept through construction documentation
Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs
Assist with preparation of permit applications and responses to municipal and agency review comments (NJDEP, county, and local jurisdictions)
Coordinate with internal design teams, surveyors, and consultants
Review shop drawings and support construction administration as needed
Conduct occasional site visits to observe construction progress and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
0–3 years of experience in civil site design or land development
EIT certification or progress toward licensure preferred
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Familiarity with New Jersey land development regulations is a plus
