Finance and Administrative Services Manager
Public Health — Seattle & King County is seeking a Finance and Administrative Services Manager for their Community Health Services Division. This role involves overseeing financial and administrative services, leading budget processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support the division's goals.

Responsibilities
Oversee a combination of the finance, accounting and budget functions
Coordinate the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of operating and capital budgets
Oversee a combination of primary administrative support functions for CHS division such as human resources, local area/wide area networks, other technology functions, fleet maintenance, facilities and asset management, customer account services, codes and contracts, and general administrative support services
Identify and assess division projects/programs and financial requirements; participate in developing strategic planning and project/program implementation efforts
Serve as a member of the CHS Division’s management team
Identify and assess policy and procedural issues and make recommendations to management on recommended courses of action
Manage the work of staff to include; recruitment and selection, discipline and termination, work assignments, employee development and performance evaluation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and principles
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and techniques
Knowledge of budgeting techniques and principles
Knowledge of auditing and internal control techniques and principles
Knowledge of automated information reporting system
Knowledge of project management techniques and principles
Knowledge of issues and techniques for managing support services that serve an entire department or division
Subject matter expertise in one or more assigned administrative support functions
Knowledge of human resources management techniques and principles
