As a Security Officer - Telecom Command Center, you will support a dispatch post by monitoring alarms and cameras, coordinating responses, and documenting security-related activity while ensuring customer service to site personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, CCTV, phones, radios, and access control systems, and routing calls for service to on-site personnel as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and communications with site management and public responders when directed
Document activities in daily reports and incident reports, including calls for service, dispatch actions, and system events, and maintain accurate logs and records
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Experience with Everbridge is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred
