Responsibilities
Conduct value engineering studies for construction projects, renovations, and facility upgrades
Identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality or functionality
Analyze design submissions, contractor proposals, and change orders for efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborate with project teams to implement recommended improvements
Support preparation of cost estimates, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
Assist with claims management and project reporting related to cost and performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field or 10 years equivalent construction experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in value engineering for construction projects gained from government contracts
Knowledge of construction cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The client conducts an extensive background check, must be able to pass DHS security clearance to obtain Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card
Flexible to work on site in the US Borders such as TX, MI, Washington State, NY, CA and NM
