Responsibilities

Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs connecting a Salesforce Experience Cloud microsite with backend analytics services in GCP

Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to define API endpoints, input/output schemas, and integration patterns

Implement and test JSON-based data exchange to ensure reliable request/response handling

Partner with Salesforce developers to support integration, authentication, and deployment workflows

Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and compliance standards (no PHI/PII expected in this project)

Participate in CI/CD processes (Jenkins-based), including code reviews, unit testing, and environment configuration

Create and maintain technical documentation and provide guidance for API consumers

Required

4+ years of professional experience developing APIs in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django REST Framework, or similar)

Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and token-based authentication

Experience with Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tools

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Experience working in large, matrixed or enterprise environments

Preferred

Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud integration patterns

Exposure to ML-adjacent systems or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures

Understanding of API security, rate limiting, and performance optimization
