Electronics Technician - Night Shift
Superior Essex Communications is seeking an Electronics Technician to perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of production and support equipment. The role involves handling general repair work, maintenance on electrical/electronic components, and performing routine preventive maintenance on electronic equipment.

Responsibilities
Repairs production and spare equipment when failure is of an electrical or electronic nature, which requires the ability to do minor soldering, alignment, grinding, disassembly and reassembly of both major, minor, large and small pieces of equipment
Helps troubleshoot equipment by observing equipment operation from an electronic perspective
Designs, fabricates, assembles and installs, parts, fixtures or entire assemblies as requested by Engineering or Department managers
Initiates necessary parts request form for required electronic supplies so repairs or installations can be completed
Inspects and calibrates various pieces of production equipment and requires documentation of drawings, layouts, time sheets, work orders and cost reduction or safety proposals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent with two or more years of technical training or school within the field, or equivalent education and experience
Technical experience
Ability to use hand and power tools and operate all types of electronic troubleshooting equipment
Computer literate
