Responsibilities

Assist and provide support to attorneys on a variety of legal matters
Research laws, regulations and cases
Review and assist in drafting a variety of contracts, policies and other legal documents
Participate in discussions with in-house and outside counsel
Other legal support for the Legal Department as needed
Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration

Required

High School Diploma/GED
1 year of experience
Currently a student at an accredited law school program
In the top 25% of their 1L/2L class

Strong legal research and writing skills
Self-motivated, imaginative and versatile
Computer proficiency

Preferred

Prior coursework in insurance law, technology law, employee benefits law, privacy law and/or coursework in contract law
