Strategy & Operations Intern (MBA)
Votely is a startup looking for an MBA intern to help scale their user base from tens of thousands to millions. The role involves market analysis, partnership strategy, and operational process design, with direct collaboration with the founders on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead a strategic project from scoping through recommendation (e.g., market entry analysis, partnership model design, pricing strategy)
Build and run operational processes: weekly cadences, KPI tracking, initiative management
Identify and prioritize target communities and markets for expansion
Source, evaluate, and manage partnerships with campus organizations, civic groups, and media outlets
Create structured analyses and presentations for leadership decision-making
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure plans translate into shipped work
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an MBA program at a US university (first or second year)
Pre-MBA experience in consulting, investment banking, strategy, or startup operations (2+ years)
Exceptional structured thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication; you can make a deck that tells a story
Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis
Available for 10-12 weeks, 40 hours/week
Preferred
Experience at an early-stage startup (any function)
Background in partnerships, business development, or go-to-market strategy
Familiarity with the civic tech, ed-tech, or consumer social space
SQL or basic data analysis skills
Experience building dashboards or KPI tracking systems
