Responsibilities
Provide timely and effective legal advice and support to commanders, Marines, Sailors, and their families
Advise commanding officers and oversee criminal/administrative investigations
Practice in various areas of law, including civil litigation, tort claims, labor law, environmental law, operational law, cyber law, and international law
Work as Trial Counsel (prosecutor) or Defense Counsel in criminal litigation cases
Provide legal advice and support during deployments, including rules of engagement and military justice
Get exposure to civil law, tort claims, labor law, and contract law
Qualification
Required
Be a U.S. Citizen
Be physically active and meet Marine Corps fitness requirements
Preferred LSAT of at least 150 and previous SAT score of 1000 (math and verbal combined) or ACT composite score of 22
