Responsibilities
Review and interpret complex engineering drawings with expertise in GD&T
Lead First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR) in compliance with AS9012
Support development and qualification of alternate inspection frequency plans per AS13002
Drive APQP / PPAP processes to ensure effective quality planning and execution
Utilize conventional measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) for verification
Leverage CMM experience (programming preferred) for precision inspection
Conduct root cause analysis and implement RCCM (Root Cause Counter Measures)
Qualification
Required
Strong aerospace manufacturing or quality engineering background
Proficiency with GD&T and interpretation of technical drawings
Hands-on experience with inspection tools and CMM systems
Familiarity with AS9012, AS13002, APQP, and PPAP requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated RCCM experience
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
CMM programming experience
Prior experience in a highly regulated aerospace environment
