Responsibilities

Drive large projects from conception to delivery working lockstep with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code across the technology stack
Collaborate with Product and Design teams to develop solutions that align with business objectives
Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, such as system designs and API contracts, to ensure shared team understanding
Lead and participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices
Develop and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles across the engineering team
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize system reliability
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact and adoption
Act as a technical mentor for junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical roadmaps
Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, scalability, and security
Aid in the product team to design features from concept through production, including instrumentation, monitoring, and iterative improvement based on usage and feedback
Identify and advocate for improvements to developer experience, such as tooling, CI/CD workflows, or onboarding processes
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure engineering solutions meet business needs and provide a great user experience
Support a culture of accountability and shared ownership by participating in incident reviews and reliability initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience
Five or more years of full stack software development in a Saas or technology-driven environment
Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue)
Strong front end experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Strong back-end / API experience (.NET Core)
Deep understanding of SQL databases and data modeling best practices
Familiarity with Agile framework and methodologies
A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong time management and multitasking skills, balancing multiple projects and priorities
