Responsibilities
Assists with AP manager to keep up the fixed asset schedule and monthly JE’s
Perform all construction loan JE’s
Perform all Debt JE’s
Update and maintain SYH with the new lease accounting guidelines
Update and maintain SYH with new In-Kind accounting guidelines
Perform assigned balance sheet reconciliations monthly; enters adjusting journal entries as directed and provides adjustment recommendations to supervisor for maintenance of clean and accurate account balances
Performs PACE professional fee expense JE’s
Handle all aspects of rental properties, including invoicing, revenue and expense JE’s and following up on payments not received
Perform Unclaimed Property reporting
Assists in maintaining and developing departmental policies and procedures in matters affecting cost, accounting, and reporting policies
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in current educational programs, service meetings and workshops
Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience to substitute for education
3 years in finance or accounting in a health care or non-profit setting
Good oral and written communication
Knowledge of financial reporting, cost analysis, and accounting practices
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing programs
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
