Responsibilities

Support full accounts payable cycle including invoice and payment processing, GL coding, purchase order invoice matching, vendor maintenance, and general record keeping
Build strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams by managing billing and payment issues with timely resolution
Assist as a backup to processing employee expense reports and corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls
Assist with period-end, quarter-end and annual close activities and prepare audit support as needed
Assist in the preparation of annual 1099s and other compliance filings
Create and maintain internal procedure documents
Support ad hoc projects and analysis, including system implementations and automation

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years working in procure to pay process
Experience working with Microsoft D365, ExFlow and/or Concur a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Attention to detail: Strive for 'Zero Defect' work product
Curiosity: A drive to continuously learn and improve
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Passion for Vital Farms' purpose and commitment to ethical business practices
Travel up to 10–20% to company facilities, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional meetings
