Litigation Paralegal
Beacon Hill's client, a financial services company, is seeking a remote Litigation Paralegal to support their team. The role involves managing litigation matters, ensuring compliance with document retention policies, and collaborating with various teams on legal issues.

Responsibilities
Process, research, manage, and track all incoming litigation matters (e.g., demands, lawsuits, and arbitrations), including updating case files, assisting with case-related communications and invoice/payments, maintaining the litigation calendar, and other administrative tasks
Implement litigation holds and ensure compliance with Block's document retention policy
Manage discovery requests and assist with discovery production (e.g., interrogatories, subpoenas, and document requests), including collection of documents
Review and process incoming mail, including service of process
Track, research, and respond to customer complaints escalated to our legal department
Help draft and submit responses to requests for information from government agencies, and in response to legal demands
Work with our internal product, business, and compliance teams, as well as with external advisors and experts
Qualification
Required
5+ years of paralegal experience, a mix of in-house and private practice experience preferred
Great attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities
Ability to work with team members at all levels, sometimes under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Experience with e-discovery, Macs, GSuite, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and JIRA are a plus
A team player attitude and skills to help achieve team goals
Interest in learning and developing expertise in new systems and subjects
