Responsibilities
Performs research & analysis and/or manages investment options
Assist with the preparation of materials for periodic client meetings, which includes creating and/or updating reports such as cash flows, financial statements, and asset allocations summaries for clients with a Degree of Difficulty of 4+
Draft financial projections and calculations
Analyze investment performance and research investment options and provide recommendations
Review and track client account applications, transfers and directives
Assist advisors with various special projects and requests
Provide information and make recommendations on advisory service products, investment selections, sustainability guidelines and reporting decisions
Assists with training and developing mid-level and junior analysts
Continue to expand knowledge of comprehensive wealth management including Financial Planning, Tax Planning, Asset Management, Risk Management and Estate Planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required, accounting and/or finance or business with an emphasis on accounting/finance preferred
4+ years' experience in the financial industry in a similar analyst role
Obtained or willing to obtain certification, such as: CFP or CFA
Willingness to participate in a Parkside Committee
Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills
Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
Eager to learn new skills in a variety of financial planning areas using multiple software applications
Strong work ethic
Service oriented
Willingness to learn and contribute to company's financial growth and profitability
