Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders, access control procedures, and site-specific policies at a government location, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, queue control, and coordination with local authorities as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns through the proper channels
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, documenting observations and communicating updates to supervisors and/or designated points of contact
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs, and support screening checkpoints and restricted area entry procedures when assigned
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
