Responsibilities
Receiving / Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely, count products, compare to manifests, and inspect shipments for damage. Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments to the supervisor and store merchandise in the correct locations
Order Picking: Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected. Move orders to proper staging areas
Quality Control: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report any quality variances
Loading: Load product into trailers safely and efficiently from staging or storage areas. Ensure all items are properly stacked, wrapped, and secured according to company procedures
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Assist with loading and unloading merchandise and use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and storing functions
Safety / Sanitation / Security: Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with OSHA and SDS standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 months forklift experience required
Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
Ability to work overtime during peak season
Must be able to read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
Drug test required
Other general warehouse duties may be assigned
Preferred
High school diploma preferred
Familiarity with computers and radio frequency equipment is a plus
