Responsibilities
Monitoring and implementing changes in HUD and LITHC regulations and requirements
Maintaining proper maintenance of tenant files and computer records to ensure accuracy according to regulations
Managing and maintaining assigned affordable housing portfolio (including tenant file reviews, audits onsite file reviews, certifications, transmit property rental assistance into state housing programs, and input tenant certifications into property management software)
Facilitating training programs for site teams to inform and educate on requirements and responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Minimum COS certification or similar certification
Demonstrated knowledge of affordable housing regulations such as HUD, LIHTC, AHP, HAP, etc
Strong computer skills and experience with property management software (Onesite preferred)
Minimum 5 years of administrative, file compliance, and affordable housing experience
Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing, Landlord and Tenant laws
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to handle stressful and demanding situations in a calm, effective, and organized manner
Demonstrated ability to work independently
LIHTC lease-up experience
Proven ability to build trust with members of a community with different cultures and backgrounds in order to obtain information and solve problems
Ability to do some travel as needed
